Fabrice Niyonkuru has been working as a Research Associate at the Chair of Corporate Sustainability Management at Friedrich-Alexander Universit\u00e4t Erlangen\u2013N\u00fcrnberg (FAU) since November 2025. As a doctoral candidate, he is part of the International Doctoral Programme Business and Human Rights: Governance in a Complex World<\/em>, funded by the Elite Network of Bavaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His teaching responsibilities include supporting the Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility<\/em> course led by Prof. Dr. Markus Beckmann, as well as supervising master\u2019s theses in business and human rights governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His research lies at the intersection of informality, corporate accountability, and human rights governance in global supply chains, with a particular focus on high-risk sectors, especially cocoa in West Africa and cobalt in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
